Ski touring became very popular in Tatra Mountains in recent years, which I am very pleased about. Apart from the fact that skiing in the fresh snow is a pure joy, skitouring is definitely the safest way to explore white mountains. With the skies attached to your feet, you are surely much more secured when it comes to avalanche risk. 

Endless possibilities

Comparing to organised, groomed snow slopes in the Tatras, ski touring possibilities are almost endless, starting from the gentle slopes of the West Tatras and finishing on steep gullies of the High Tatras. Everyone will find something for themselves. 

In the area of Kasprowy Wierch and Kondratowa valley, Tatra National Park offers many signed and quite easy ski touring paths. This would be your choice to put the first steps in ski touring. 

This offer is for everyone who already have some skiing experience but not necessarily the knowledge of avalanche safety and off-piste skiing. 

I will be more then happy, to show you everything which is needed for a safe ski touring trip.

Equipment and safety

From help with choosing a proper equipment and basic avalanche training to tips of ascent on skis and off-piste skiing. Planning the safest route in winter is one of the key elements of successful trip.

This knowledge is quite complex and is the result of many years of practice, that is why I highly recommend you hiring professional guide when planing ski touring in the Tatra Mountains.
