Other Alpine Regions

The Alps are vast mountains. The possibilities for an incredible time here are nearly unlimited.
If you're dreaming of something beyond the classic Mont Blanc or Matterhorn—something less obvious, wilder, and more authentic—then I invite you to discover mountains that still tell their story without the noise of tourism.

WHERE TO GO WITH AN IVBV-CERTIFIED GUIDE BEYOND THE CLASSIC MONT BLANC OR MATTERHORN?

The Berner Oberland and the Piz Bernina massif have long attracted those in search of authenticity—massive glaciers, sharp ridgelines, wide-open spaces, silence, and mountains that still inspire deep respect.

Whether you're crossing the largest glacier in the Alps—the Aletschgletscher climbing the Finsteraarhorn, or traversing the legendary Biancograt on Piz Bernina, you’ll experience what true alpinism means. No crowds, no queues. Just space, raw nature, and a deep sense of fulfillment.

Bivouacs Beneath the Stars

I’ll guide you safely through this lesser-known but truly rewarding world—whether it’s a classic ascent of a 4000-meter peak in the Bernina range, a ridge traverse with a starlit bivouac, or a multi-day glacier crossing with nights spent in alpine huts.
