What is characteristic for this type of activity is a huge exposure and lots of void under your feet, which will accompany you for the most of the climb. The most popular Tatra Ridges are known for its good granit rock quality and possibilities of placing protection gear. Guiding clients on the knife sharp Tatra Ridges is not an easy task. It requires from me a very good knowledge of terrain and an excellent rope work technique, to provide you with a maximum safety and security. Climbing and safety

Tatra Ridges usually require few hours to be climbed and therefore a good weather forecast is one of the key factors. Ridges are not that easy to retreat and for that reason hiring a local mountain guide with an excellent knowledge of terrain is highly recommended.

Many times, during this climbs, you will face a rocky needles sticking out from the ridge. Occasional down climbing and some abseiling have a share in this outing too. Some parts of ridges are so thin, that you can easily sit on them waving your legs on both sides of the arete.

All necessary climbing gear (helmets, harnesses, rope, etc.) are provided by myself without any additional cost. This offer is for two guests maximum.
